Great Plains Recovery
How our text messaging program works, what to expect, and how to stop messages at any time.
These SMS Terms describe the text messaging program operated by Great Plains Recovery Center (“Great Plains Recovery,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They apply whenever you give us your mobile number and agree to receive text messages from us. They work alongside our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
The program is the Great Plains Recovery Center text messaging program, operated by Great Plains Recovery, 7210 S. Yale Ave, Tulsa, OK 74136.
You join the program by giving us your mobile number and affirmatively agreeing to receive text messages — for example, by checking the SMS consent box on a form on this website, by texting us first, or by telling a member of our team that we may text you.
Consent is not a condition of treatment or purchase. You can receive care from Great Plains Recovery without ever agreeing to receive text messages, and declining will not affect your admission, your care, or the price of any service.
Messages you may receive include:
Message frequency varies. How many messages you receive depends on how you interact with us — for example, where you are in the admissions process and how many appointments you have scheduled.
Message and data rates may apply. Great Plains Recovery does not charge you for the messages, but your mobile carrier’s standard message and data rates apply to every message you send or receive. Check with your carrier if you are unsure about your plan.
You can cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you send STOP, we will send one confirmation message and then stop sending text messages to that number. You may also ask us to stop by calling (918) 731-3173.
If you later want to rejoin the program, you can opt in again the same way you did the first time.
Reply HELP to any message for help, and we will reply with support information. You can also reach us using the contact details at the bottom of this page.
Message delivery depends on your wireless carrier’s network, which is outside our control. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We cannot guarantee that every message will be delivered, or delivered on time, and you should not rely on text messaging for urgent or emergency communication.
If you or someone else is experiencing a medical emergency or is in danger, call 911. If you are experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis, call or text the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (dial or text 988), or contact the SAMHSA National Helpline at 1-800-662-HELP (4357).
Mobile information and SMS opt-in consent will not be shared with, sold to, or bought by any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
We may share mobile information with service providers who help us operate the messaging program on our behalf, under obligations to protect that information — and with no one else for marketing or promotional purposes. Because we provide substance use disorder treatment, information about you is also protected by HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
Please tell us if you change or give up the mobile number you gave us, so we do not text someone else by mistake. You can update your number by calling (918) 731-3173.
We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and post the updated terms here.
